What led you to me?
Confusion about where my relationship with my horse was, and almost getting frustrated with our lack of movement forwards.
How was your call helpful?
It was amazing, it’s helped me see things from my horse’s perspective and know how I can help him so we can move forwards. It’s also told me his favourite type of treat! It’s reassured me and made me confident in the knowledge that what I’m doing is both the right approach and the right thing for my horse.
Was it what you expected?
Everything I expected and more! I wouldn’t go to any other communicator after this experience.
What were you most surprised by?
Apparently my pony likes herbal mint treats, which is surprising considering he hates polos and other mint-flavoured things. (I did test this the very same day and he LOVES the herbal mint treats!).
That aside, I was surprised by how open he was to my training methods and pathways I could take us down. I was also surprised by his sense of humour! I always knew he was a cheeky boy but I wasn’t expecting to actually have banter/exchange jokes with my horse!
What was the most valuable aspect of your call?
The reassurance it’s given me that I’m doing the right thing for my horse, and that he appreciated everything I’ve done for him. I’ll be honest, before the call I was debating selling him, as it just didn’t feel like we were clicking in the right way. After the call, I realised that he does appreciate what I’m doing for him, I just need to be more patient. I’ll definitely be having one of these calls at least once a year.
Did our call save you time and/or money in identifying and remedying an issue?
There weren’t actually any issues that he identified, besides a slightly sore back, which we’re having looked at! We’d already booked the physio, but it confirmed that we were on the right track.
Has your equine or animal’s behaviour changed following the call?
Not massively, but it’s given me a deeper understanding why he does some of the things he does, thus allowing me to change my behaviour and attitude, which has honestly helped us de-escalate scary situations faster and allowed me to help him a little more.
Has your relationship changed as a result?
100%. I feel more connected and understanding of my boy, and it’s really helped me learn how to help him through his challenging behaviours. It’s given me an insight into his personality, and reassured me in the strength of our relationship. I know now that he’ll always be there for me, I just have to look for it.
What could I change or do to improve my call service?
Absolutely nothing! I was incredibly pleased with the service, the professionalism and the detail you went into! I wouldn’t go to or recommend anyone else!
A potential client is on the fence about whether to have a call with me; what would you say to them?
Go for it! It’s an amazing experience and I’d recommend everyone tries it at least once!

I’m so impressed, thank you! The recording of the call has also been so helpful, as I can revisit it whenever I like. I really appreciate what you do for people and their animals, it’s such an incredible thing.
