What led you to me?
I was referred to Rachael from a friend. I had a couple of issues with my dog being occasionally aggressive with dogs he didn’t know and wanted to understand more about it.
How was your call helpful?
Yes the call was extremely helpful. It gave me an insight into his perspective when we meet other strange dogs on walks and I took away a number of action points.
We have had an annual call since then to see how he is physically and to check on his well being. I find these extremely useful as it is a great opportunity to connect with him and to stay on top of any issues and to ensure we are giving him the best care
Was it what you expected?
I didn’t know what to expect but found the session very insightful.
What were you most surprised by?
I was most surprised by Rachael’s innate ability to capture the personality of our dog and to give an insight into how he was feeling. Everything we discussed felt relevant and appropriate to what was happening in his life at that time
What was the most valuable aspect of your call?
Being able to identify areas for improvement and to identify practical actions resulting from the call eg making sure he had a blanket in winter as he sometimes felt the cold, playing varied ball searching games in the garden as this gives him so much joy, investing in some new (play and furry) toys as these were a source of comfort and enhanced his play time, changing one of his supplements which was a well known and popular brand but seemingly low quality to something more nutritional.
Has your equine or animal’s behaviour changed following the call?
I feel I have a much greater understanding of his emotions and well being. He talked about some inflammation in his shoulder which was true as he had been limping. Following this he had some physio sessions which has addressed the issue but has also given me a way to keep an eye on his general well being, joints and overall mobility.
Has your relationship changed as a result?
Yes I feel more connected with him and feel that I understand his needs more.
What could I change or do to improve my call service?
I think it works fine as it is. I’m happy to go with the flow. You have a nice, open style which makes the communication easy

Be open-minded and give it a go!
