Gaynor & Red

What led you to me?
I’ve been intrigued for a while about animal communication & would love to be able to hear all they have to say. Your name appeared on Facebook numerous times & always with good comments.

How was your call helpful?
Red is generally aloof & keeps his distance unless being fed. It was good to know this is his way & not just me. Also gave me encouragement to persist to find the way to connect with him. The reason for him frequently closing his eyes was interesting & certainly makes sense. I felt reassured that he’s generally happy & comfortable with his life & what we do together.

Was it what you expected?
I had already attended a demo at Athena so knew what to expect.

What were you most surprised by?
How both my horse’s personality were described so accurately as they are like chalk & cheese.

What was the most valuable aspect of your call?
I find Red quite a challenge & have struggled to bond with him properly which often left me feeling frustrated & emotional. I now know that he reacts to my emotions, even positive ones & it creates more of a block between us. I now feel more positive & relaxed, willing to take a step back but continue looking for the right way to get through to him.

Has your horse or pony’s behaviour changed following the call?
Initially I felt that he made it much clearer when he was trying to say ‘no’. This might be me reading him better.

A potential client is on the fence about whether to have a call with me; what would you say to them?
Give it a go as you may be really surprised as to what is revealed. Anyone who truly cares about their horse/pony wants them to be happy & the best way to achieve that is to communicate.

Is there anything else that you’d like to tell me that I haven’t asked about? (Friends reactions, business impact etc)
I followed your advise about Jayne Forster & have booked onto the clinic in May at Nina Brook’s yard. I’ve also just started Carolyn Resnick’s 21 day chair challenge. If I can improve our bond I think everything else will fall into place.
